Case study: the British Film Institute

bfi-archive

I worked with the BFI on-and-off over a couple of years, helping them build confidence for blogging and working in the open. This culminated in work to prepare team members for their part in the Our Screen Heritage funding project, which demands plenty of openness.

Working with Rhoda Adenle, Catheryne Littlejohns, Alex Prideaux and Neil Williams, I ran a number of workshops, wrote some internal guidance material, and presented at a team conference.

The results speak for themselves, I think: the Inside the archive blog posts are really good, and have joined my ever-growing list of “good comms” examples to share with others in future. The archive team have really taken on board my advice about writing like you speak, and showing the thing. Bravo!
